Naw Lumix S9 is superior by a large margin over the x100VI. S9 is a sleeper of a camera.

This week I took the jump and switched one of my Sony A7RIV Cameras to a Sony A7RV, yes I agree with you this is also the best Camera that I have owned for 45 years of Photographer, I have used nearly all sorts of Cameras, Canon, Minolta, Nikon, Olympus SLR, Canon DSLR, Hasselblad 6x6 Cameras, Sinar and Linhof 4x5", Sinar 5x7" and many more Cameras, but the Sony A7RV is the best Camera I have ever worked with. I like te 61 megapixels, the EVF, the IBIS and the eye detection for Birds and Animals. The Sony A7RV is very easy to use when you have set your own menu settings and customized buttons, I like the fn settings a lot ! I can very highly recommend the Sony A7RV ! I can also recommend the Sony A7RIIIA and Sony A7RIVA.

Do you think Zeiss optics have a distinctive look. They seem to render like no other manufacturer. Sharp but smooth...I know that makes little sense. I love the pictures from 6:24 to 6:34. Really nice work. I bet you clients were over the moon.

£400 + still isn't that cheap for a slightly soft lens, a NEW Voightlander would be better value.

Great content! Finally got a GRiiix viewfinder and excited to start using it like a film point and shoot. These cameras can do so much so I’m excited to take a step back and use it more casually as well as save some battery life when I feel like it.

I`ve been confused by the two camps, digital vs film. Some say film is more detailed with better shading of colors while the digital camp says otherwise. I`d like to know your assessment on whether film or digital does have the advantage...!

Love my ZF! Definitely agree about the pocket-ability, it's not that type of camera. Along that line, what camera do you recommend for pocket-ability? I'm looking for something for easygoing, everyday carry, especially when I have my kids around. I can't handle a camera like the ZF when I have to be quick with the kids.

I`m impressed with your decision by staying with the 24mp M10. I own a MD 262 and for me see no need of more megapixels than 24...!

If the GRIV(X) is going to be dust or even splash-proof and has a built in flash I'm stroooongly considering getting one. If it additionally has a RX100-like EVF it's going to be a no-brainer. But for its price the GRIII has definitely too many trade offs for me and my situation.

Are these photos all shot with one lens? What is it?

No mention of whether or not the s9 has any issues with corner smearing or color cast? Its sort of implied in the video that the Sony, Nikon, and Leica are all equally good with Leica M lenses, but the zf is definitely noticeably better than any of the Sony bodies... And historically Lumix cameras haven't been great either. The gold standard is how they perform on M, SL, and even the sigma fp- would have been good to have a few sentences on how the s9 compares in that regard.

How is the autofocus?

I can't decide between the Sony 24-50 and the Tamron 28-75. Both lenses are lightweight and have a short focusing distance. I mostly do reportage photos and watch reviews.

Hi. I shoot the M10 and after lots of conversation and consideration I went with the zeiss. I haven’t tried the Typoch but I did try the Summilux vs the Zeiss and (somehow when paired with the m10) I totally prefer the result from the Zeiss. Weight/size is a non-issue for me. I’m actually gobsmacked by the lens and it’s definitely a keeper.

You shutter sounds like a ae-1 that needs lubrication. I'm guessing a-1 shutter is pretty much the same as the ae-1 and therefore would benefit from tune up. On my ae-1, I was guessing shutter capping as well before this tune-up. So this could impact your pictures as well.

Thanks for the video! I'm curious - the zF's viewfinder on paper seems to be much better than something you'd find on the Sony a7CR, but do you actually feel like it's easier to confirm a sharp focus on the Sony?

For me 28mm all day. For street and photo journalist work. Holiday snaps Its perfect.

Have you tried it with a flash during the wedding reception. Continuous autofocus seems to struggle when wb is set to flash
